Turn the volume up… you know you want to!

Well as of now, I am really jealous of the Suisse! Ford Switzerland has signed off on a special limited edition Focus RS – of which the 50 built will be only available in Switzerland.

I light of the following comment – “…I didn’t really read the article either. I like short and to the point articles…” – I would like to take a poll on your opinion whether I should continue on detailing every new Ford, or being very precise and to the point with all the details you really care about.
So, now is the time to voice your opinion!

The NAIAS is well and truly underway now and Ford is in unwrapping mode – showing off the 2012 Focus and letting the world know of it’s achievements in the North American Car & Truck of the Year. Now it’s the Mustang’s turn – and boy, is it a beauty?!

The votes are in and Ford has clean sweeped the competition in the 2010 North American Car and Truck of the Year with it’s Ford Fusion Hybrid and the new versatile Ford Transit Connect. Beating out the shortlisted Buick LaCrosse & Volkswagen Golf, the Fusion Hybrid is Ford’s 9th North American Car of the Year, whilst the Transit Connect (shortlisted with the Chevrolet Equinox & Subaru Outback) is Ford’s 11th victory in the North American Truck of the year. As we begin 2010, it looks like the compact C-segment is shaping up to be one of the most highly competitve segments in the auto industry. The Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, VW Golf and Jetta, along with the new Chevrolet Cruze are fighting for the hearts, minds and dollars of the masses. And then there’s the Ford Focus. Ford began its MyFord Touch presentation with a simple question: “People line up for iPhones – why not cars?” What is it about certain pieces of technology that makes them a “must have”? And since the iPhone is really just a merger of two things we already have (a cell phone and PC), is it possible to blend something into a car that will get ‘em lining up around the block? Quite obviously, Ford’s hoping the answer is yes.
