January 12, 2010The votes are in and Ford has clean sweeped the competition in the 2010 North American Car and Truck of the Year with it’s Ford Fusion Hybrid and the new versatile Ford Transit Connect. Beating out the shortlisted Buick LaCrosse & Volkswagen Golf, the Fusion Hybrid is Ford’s 9th North American Car of the Year, whilst the Transit Connect (shortlisted with the Chevrolet Equinox & Subaru Outback) is Ford’s 11th victory in the North American Truck of the year. January 7, 2010Ford began its MyFord Touch presentation with a simple question: “People line up for iPhones – why not cars?” What is it about certain pieces of technology that makes them a “must have”? And since the iPhone is really just a merger of two things we already have (a cell phone and PC), is it possible to blend something into a car that will get ‘em lining up around the block? Quite obviously, Ford’s hoping the answer is yes.
