WebWombat.com.au has recently finished pitching FPV’s new FG GT-P against HSV’s VE GTS. In recent years, the HSV GTS has been quoted as “being in a class of its own” & “the best ever Aussie Grand Tourer”. I think this review changes these comments…

Lincoln working on sub-MKZ sedan?

Automotive News has interviewed Lincoln’s product development chief, Derrick Kuzak, about future vehicles from Ford’s luxury brand & Kuzak was quoted saying:

“We do think that there is room for a smaller car in the Lincoln brand,”

But he didn’t reveal any details on any – if any – plans of such a vehicle.

SCOOP!!! Ford SEMA vehicle leaked…

Thanks to our friends over at Autoblog, we have some scoop pics of Galpin Auto Sports’s new SEMA concept – the Ford “Project B”. Based on the current Mustang platform, the “Project B” is powered by a stroked 4.6L (now 5.0L) Mustang V8, which is gloriously twin-supercharged… Sounds great! More info after the jump…

Canada passing on $80mill to FoMoCo for new facilities…

The Canadian government is handing over to FoMoCo $80 million in a 5 year deal to help secure the automaker in the future market. This money will go towards updating engine facilities at the Essex plant – which currently can only produce V8’s for SUV’s & pick ups – to be more flexible with their powertrain production – to keep up with smaller engine demand.
