FPV to get a new V8… Next year…

Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) will have a more powerful V8 engine next year, but it will still be locally assembled.
With Euro IV emission controls set to come in on July 1 next year, FPV will finally retire the existing 5.4-litre Boss V8.

Being based in Australia, it would easily cost me $AUD150,000+! (For the RHD conversion). Very sad indeed. But, if I was in America, what would it cost me then? Gladly to say, a hell of a lot less! The 2010 Ford Mustang starts from a amazingly low $USD21,000 ($AUD33,000)!

With only a few days until the unveiling of the 2010 Mustang, pricing and option package information has been leaked for the GT premium model with no mention of horsepower output. The price for a 2010 Mustang GT with the premium package will be $30,095. Some of the features for the GT premium package include a 4.6L OHC 3V V8 Engine, SYNC, 18″ wheels, shaker 500 audio, ambient lighting, bright aluminum accent dash, pedal covers, scuff plate & shift knob and 6-gauge cluster with MyColor.
