- Romeo Engine Plant, produces V8 engines for Ford F-150, Mustang, Shelby GT500, Explorer, E-Series van, Crown Victoria, and the Mercury Grand Marquis
- Plant produces 140 engines an hour on its high-volume line, with hourly and salaried teams focusing on continuous improvement and quality basics.
- In 2008, engines built at Romeo output 88.9 million horsepower, 2,750 times the combined horsepower of this year’s starting field at Daytona.

February 20, 2009The new-for-2010 Mustang is THE coolest ‘pony’ car – I’m sure everyone would agree. So, what will the coolest pony car on the earth gonna cost you? Being based in Australia, it would easily cost me $AUD150,000+! (For the RHD conversion). Very sad indeed. But, if I was in America, what would it cost me then? Gladly to say, a hell of a lot less! The 2010 Ford Mustang starts from a amazingly low $USD21,000 ($AUD33,000)!

January 30, 2009We don’t know what it is yet, but according to the folks at InsideLine, Carroll Shelby is preparing to unveil a new special-edition Ford Mustang next week. Rumored to be less powerful than the GT500KR, the limited-run model will make its debut as part of a benefit dinner for a new museum of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), held during the Winternationals.
