2011 Ford Mondeo facelift busted naked…

May 28, 2010

After being spotted numerous times fully-clad in that annoying camouflage, there are finally spy shots that have uncovered the facelifted Mondeo that will hit the showrooms early next year.

Here in these revealing shots you can see the updated front bumper – or namely stealing the front bumper off of the new for 2011 S-Max. Smaller top grille and bigger lower grille make for a modern Ford look. LED daytime running lights above restyled fog lamps really improve on the already nice looking Mondeo.

Powertrain improvements will be a new 2.0L EcoBoost as premiered in the 2011 S-Max and various other Ford products from around the globe. Also, expect updated versions of Ford’s Duratec TDCi engines.

On the rear we can see a subtle tail lamp update from the  new S-Max with LED’s in place of conventional lamps – we’re going up class now!

Expect the new Mondeo to appear in showrooms early next year in Europe…

Stay tuned for more Ford news…
