Ford has announced that the new 1.0 litre 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine is now in production and ready to be put in upcoming B-Max, Focus and C-Max models.

Ford has taken the covers off it’s new ‘turn-key’ racer, based on the new 2012 Focus ST, the Focus ST-R. Powered by the same 2.0 litre EcoBoost found in the road-going version, the ST-R will have a few more ponies to boot.
Joining its Focus sibling, the Fiesta has now been ‘ST-ed’, with a concept version revealed in Frankfurt. Powered by Ford’s 1.6 litre, 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine, the new Fiesta proves to be a lightweight rocket.
Ford has taken the covers off it’s new hot-hatch, the Ford Focus ST. This time around, though, it is the full production version, so this is what you will see in your nearest Ford showroom when it goes on sale in 2012.
Ford has taken the covers off it’s future design study concept headed for the 2011 Frankfurt International Motorshow – the Evos. Although inspiration is clearly taken form the Start concept seen at Beijing last year, the Evos takes Ford’s next design language to the next level.
Ford believes that the lack of a LPG-dedicated model (E-Gas) for the Falcon range for the whole of this year is one main factor towards the dwindling sales numbers of it’s large sedan. But Ford is back in the LPG game, and they’re in big time – introducing the new EcoLPI Falcon.
